Customised unit for Lola

Customised units are one of my favourite things to do in hairdressing, there is something about creating a piece that someone can wear as they please that brings me joy. My client Lola came to me to make her two units, one frontal and the other a standard middle part body wave. Making the units were easy enough and for more precision she came in for a private fitting where I canerowed her hair and styled it for her. Some of the key factors to wearing a unit are; making sure you have a flat base so that your unit sits right, flattening the top of your unit to ensure it isn’t high and matching your lace closure to your skin tone powder is always best in my opinion…. how do you guys style your units?
